Anodised Colors
After a piece of aluminium goes through an acid electrolyte bath, a coating of aluminium oxide grows on the aluminium. This process produces various colours. Printing and Engraving can also bo combined with this process.
Stamping
For designs which require thinner, surrounding lines. In between the rims, customers can also request enamel fillings, which makes the pattern stand out better. Soft Enamel is the best choice among all colorings.
Suggested materials: Aluminium, Copper, Iron and Brass.
Thickness: 1.5 mm / 1.8 mm / 2.0 mm
Compound Mold
This process requires a 2-mold combination. Mold A has part of its surface embossed; Mold B has the same pattern as Mold A, but debossed. Put Mold A on top of Mold B, then place the metal piece in between. Compress materials together.
Final result: Pattern will be embossed at the front; the back side of the metal will have the pattern debossed.
Suggested materials: Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Brass.
Thickness: 0.3 mm / 0.5 mm / 0.7 mm
Offset Printing
Photographic Printing - This process is mostly applied on graphics with gradient colors or photography-like colors. PinSource is the only manufacturer that can supply offset prints with 250 lines per inch resolution on metals. Competitors can apply 175 lines resolution. As a result, our product looks better.
Suggested materials: Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Brass.
Thickness: 0.5 mm / 0.8 mm / 1.0 mm / 1.2 mm / 1.4 mm / 1.6 mm / 1.8 mm / 2.0 mm
Die Casting – Zinc Alloy
Compared to all the processes above, Zinc Alloy is the only method that can make a 3D pattern on the dog tags. The result of Die Casting – Zinc Alloy dog tags is one of impressive quality. However, this process places limitations on the complexity of the graphics.

Engraving
4 different kind of engravings: Laser Engraving, Black Laser Engraving, Mechanical Engraving and Photo Engraving.
Laser Engraving – Capable of engraving logos, artwork, simple texts and fonts.
Black Laser Engraving – It is the same concept as Laser Engraving but with darker colors Can only be applied on Brass, Zinc Alloy, and Copper.
Photo Engraving – It is a photographic printing effect engraved onto metals. Artwork should be privided with the same Black and White effects, Black Nickel Plated metal surfaces get the best result.
Mechanical Engraving – It is the latast engraving process and the only process that can be used with enamel.
Photo Etching
Photo Etching is the process that uses chemicals. The already engraved dog tags are dipped in a chemical solution that forms and creates the colors of the metal, adding character and style. It is similar to Stamping, but the recess is not as deep. As a result, the rim is stronger and not as easily broken. We can also do design with greater complexity.
Suggested materials: Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Brass.
Thickness: 0.5 mm / 0.8 mm / 1.0 mm / 1.2 mm / 1.4 mm / 1.6 mm / 1.8 mm / 2.0 mm
